Family Summit
On Wednesday, September 9, we’ll launch the Rosedale Family Summit—a four-week, conference-style experience where attendees can choose from four different sessions each week: Parenting, Marriage, Relationships, or a verse-by-verse study of Hebrews. Each session is designed to stand alone, allowing people to attend any week while receiving practical, biblical encouragement for their current season of life.
Our goal is to strengthen homes, encourage relationships, and create an inviting opportunity for both our church family and first-time Wednesday guests to grow together.

In today’s digital world, families need more than screen-time rules—they need biblical wisdom. This session will provide practical strategies for leading your family through the digital age with confidence, establishing healthy boundaries, encouraging meaningful conversations, and cultivating Christ-centered habits at home. You’ll be equipped to help your family use technology as a tool rather than allowing it to become the master.
Location: Conference Room
Every couple enters marriage with expectations. Some are humorous, some are unrealistic, and others become painful when reality doesn’t match what we envisioned. In this session, we’ll examine a biblical couple and discover how Scripture reshapes our expectations of marriage. Together, we’ll see how God’s design offers hope, purpose, and joy, even when marriage looks different than we expected.
Location: School Building 4215
Have you ever felt like your family table keeps getting more complicated? Whether you are part of a blended family or love someone who is, navigating an expanded family requires more than good intentions—it requires grace. In this session, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about chosen commitment, complicated loyalties, and God’s heart for expanding the family circle. You’ll leave with a biblical framework for the unique challenges blended families face and a renewed perspective on how God uses family to shape us into the image of Christ.

Most kids leave home without the practical skills, financial wisdom, or spiritual maturity adulthood requires. In this session, Steve Smith shares a practical framework for progressively transferring responsibility so that independence is built—not assumed. You’ll learn how to develop decision-making skills, a strong work ethic, financial stewardship, and personal faith while your children are still under your roof. Whether your children are eight or eighteen, you’ll leave with practical next steps for parenting toward the launch, not just through the years.
Location: Conference Room
Your marriage is one of God’s greatest tools for spiritual growth—but only if you learn to grow together. In this session, we’ll examine five biblical principles that help couples pursue Christ side by side. Whether you’re growing at different paces or simply want to deepen your spiritual connection, you’ll leave with practical steps to strengthen your walk with God together.
