What To ExpectVisiting any church, especially a larger one, for the first time can be an overwhelming experience. We want to put you at ease. When you first visit Rosedale, expect to be greeted with a spirit of being a part of our family. Be prepared to hear inspiring music, helpful teaching, and dynamic preaching. Below you will find answers to many of the questions you may have as a guest at our church.
What can I expect on my first visit?
You can’t miss our growing campus on 9202 Philadelphia Road. Our parking attendants will help you find a place to park. As you enter the main worship center, one of our hospitality greeters from the Welcome Center will be happy to direct you to the different activities on the campus. You will find that Rosedale has something for everyone in your family.
When are your services?
Sunday Worship Times:
Adult and Children Bible Classes – 8:30 and 10:00 am
Morning Worship – 9:30 and 11:00 am
Servicios en Espanol – 10:00 and 11:00 am
Evening Worship – 6:00 pm
Bible Study – 7:00 pm
How do I get there?
Rosedale Baptist Church is located northeast of Baltimore. Rosedale is conveniently located just off of Interstate 95, Interstate 695, and US 40. (Click Here For Map.)
What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable while you are visiting, so what you wear is your choice. There is not a dress code at Rosedale Baptist for members or guests. You can dress up or dress down; either way is totally acceptable.
Where do I park?
Our guests are treated to the best parking spots on campus, directly next to the front entrance of the church. Our parking lot attendants will help you find your spot.
What is available for my children and teens?
Rosedale provides services and activities for youth of all ages. They will learn Biblical principles through age-appropriate teaching and experience tons of fun at the same time!! Nursery services are also available for all services. A crying room is also available during all of the worship services. It is an exciting and memorable time for everyone!
What should I expect from the worship service?
You will be given a brochure that will make you aware of events taking place at Rosedale. Worship services are truly a dynamic experience. You will hear inspiring music performed by various soloists, ensembles, and choirs. The music is followed by a clear and purposeful Bible message presented by Pastor Scott Tewell. Each message provides practical methods to deal with real-life, real-time issues. The service is approximately one hour in duration.
Who is Pastor Scott Tewell?
Dr. Scott Tewell has been the Senior Pastor of Rosedale Baptist Church since 1997. He is also the President of Baltimore Christian College, a ministry of Rosedale Baptist Church.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We want our service to be a gift to our guests. We hope that you will find Rosedale to have a family atmosphere that shares the love of God. Please do not feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
I’m in a wheelchair. Where do I go?
Designated wheelchair access is available on the South Side of the building. Seating is available on the Main Level and Upper Levels (via elevator). Our ushers will be happy to help you locate seating for yourself and anyone who is accompanying you.
