Special Events

PARENT-BABY DEDICATION - A parent-baby dedication will be held on Sunday evening, May 11, 2008 as part of the evening service.  Parents who regularly attend RBC who have a child under the age of one should stop by the Welcome Center by May 4 to get information and sign up.

MOMMY BREAKS - The Mommy Breaks Ministry is a new RBC ministry for mothers. The first MB meeting will be held in Room 200 on Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. The mission of Mommy Breaks is to help mothers develop new friends and gain practical, creative insights on mothering from others. Childcare for infants to age 4 will be provided. Sign up at the Welcome Center or see Mrs. Micah Maddox for more information.

LADIES VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE - RBC ladies are invited to sign up for a ladies volleyball league that will meet on Monday nights at 6 p.m. from June 16 - July 26.  Registration cost is $45.00.  For further information, see Ashley McCain.

MISSIONS TRIP - The RBC Missions Team will be taking a trip to Puerto Rico June 9-14, 2008.  There is still room for members to sign up.  For more information, you may view a brochure on the trip by clicking here, or speak to Bro. Pedro Morales.

BALTIMORE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE - A new 8-week session will begin soon!  Sign up now to take classes for audit or credit at the BCC table in the West Foyer.  For more information, Click here to go to the college website.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE Each month, RBC ministry teams visit nursing homes, homeless shelters, and Baltimore area neighborhoods spreading the good news of the Gospel, giving hope and encouragement to hundreds of needy people.  If you would like more information on how to get involved, please call the church office.

DEAF MINISTRY SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES - Sign language classes, open to all ages, are being offered each Friday night at 7:00 p.m. For more information, see Mike or Rose Trabert or click here to email the RBC Deaf Ministry.

 

 

Regularly Scheduled Events

  • Soulwinning and Visitation - RBC has two times each week that members can join in spreading the good news of the Gospel and visiting members and prospects.  These times are Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  Those interested in participating should meet in room 211, where partners and visits will be assigned.  Experienced visitation leaders will be assigned to those who are new to this ministry.  See Brother Montoro for more details.

  • Senior Saints Bible Study - Attention Seniors, join our group for a Bible study on Tuesday, May 6 & 20, 2008 in Room 211.  The Bible Study on the Book of Revelation will begin at 10:00 a.m.; those attending are encouraged to come early for refreshments.  See Mrs. Ruth Young for more details.

  • Busy Hands Ministry - All church ladies are invited to a meeting on Monday, May 12 & 19, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Rm. 211.  The Busy Hands Ministry is directed by Mrs. Linda Clagett, and meets for the purpose of helping members learn crocheting, embroidering, latch-hook, needlepoint, cross-stitch, etc. to help with church projects. 

  • Retirement Home Ministry - A group of RBC members will be ministering to the elderly at the Parkview Retirement Home in Bel Air, MD on May 15, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.  To sign up to help or for more information, see Virgil Bandy or Walt Patrick.

  • Mailing Ministry - Our Next mailing ministry meeting will be on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.  All are welcome to help with this ministry, which reaches out to thousands with the news of the Gospel and an invitation to visit RBC.  Lunch is provided.

  • Rescue Mission Ministry - A group of RBC members will be taking the Gospel to the needy on Friday evening, May 23, 2008, at the Baltimore City Rescue Mission.  To sign up to help or for more information, see Bro. Walt Patrick.

  • Men's Prayer Breakfast - The next men's prayer breakfast will held on May 31, 2008, at 7:30 a.m. at the Golden Corral Restaurant on Rossville Boulevard. Those interested in attending should sign up at the Visitor's Center or see Mr. Bill Brooks to get more information.

  • Sunday Morning Message Series - Join us as Pastor Tewell brings a series of messages on New Beginnings, taken from the first ten chapters of the Book of Genesis.

  • Sunday Evening Message Series - Join us as Pastor Tewell brings a series of messages on the last book of the Bible, The Revelation of Jesus Christ

  • Reformer's Unanimous Addictions Program - Reformer's Unanimous (RU) is a national, faith-based addictions program designed to direct the chemically addicted and the emotionally infirm back to God's support group--the local church.
